  28. Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army ups the ante with Spring updates
  30. Two major new features added in less than a month based on player feedback
  32. Independent UK developer Rebellion has today released update 1.05 for
  33. co-op survival shooter Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army, not only enabling
  34. co-op players to multiply the numbers of enemies they face, but also
  35. adding support for drop in / drop out functionality.
  37. Hot on the heels of April's popular 'Multiplier' update - allowing
  38. solo-players to multiply the numbers of enemies they face to terrifying
  39. levels - this update is the second major feature added to the game in less
  40. than a month based on suggestions and comments from the game's growing
  41. community.
  43. Update 1.05 also includes a small selection of fixes.
  46. Key Features:
  48. * Drop in / Drop out functionality added. (See technical notes below)
  49. * Co-op enemy multiplier added. (e.g 2 players can play against 4 player
  50. numbers of enemies)
  53. Fix list:
  55. * Fix for potential progression blocker on Cathedral level.
  56. * Fix for progression blocker on Library Of Evil.
  57. * Fix to make sure Bullet cam "minimal" settings reduces bullet cameras in
  58. game.
  59. * Fix to stop score points exploit on skeletons.
  62. Known issues:
  64. Some single player inter level saves will be invalidated with this update.
  65. This was due to level progression fixes. If problems are encountered a
  66. level restart may be required.
  69. Technical notes on drop in /drop out:
  71. * Can only join whilst players are in lobby or in actual gameplay.
  72. * Cannot join whilst in loading, waiting for players, syncing, cutscenes or
  73. end game menus.
  74. * Private match option blocks all joining.
  75. * Quick match can be found and joined by any player unless private match is
  76. selected.
  77. * Private game can only be found and joined by friends, either through an
  78. invite from host or by selecting to join game from steam in-game overlay,
  79. unless private match is selected.
  80. * The private match option can be toggled both in the lobby and in game via
  81. the pause menu.
  82. * The private match option is not available when in cutscenes or end game
  83. menus.
  84. * Players joining outside safe zones will spawn at the host position.
  85. * If the enemy multiplier is set to default then when a player joins the
  86. enemies increase to match the number of players.
  87. * If the enemy multiplier is set to default then when a player leaves the
  88. number of enemies will only decrease to match the player numbers when a
  89. safe zone is reached.
  90. * Host must wait for players joining a game to be fully in gameplay before
  91. being able to restart a game - a message box will popup informing the host
  92. of this.
