  16. Sense is the undisputed chieftain. His followers are well versed
  17. in every extortion, infiltration and martial art. Pony and Biki are
  18. his best students, his pride and joy. The duo knows the secret
  19. chakra technique like the back of their hand (or hoof in Pony's
  20. case). Together they rule the city and its surroundings. Although
  21. everyone respects and fears them they are hunted by law enforcement
  22. agencies

  26. Crouching Pony Hidden Dragon (CPHD) is a brand-new Action/RPG game
  27. developed for SNK s Neo Geo console which came out in 1990
  29. It might look like a straight-forward arcade game, but under the
  30. surface is a persistent world with a rich and varied set of rules
  31. In CPHD Run N Gun mechanics from the likes Shock Troopers or
  32. Ninja commando are combined with playful RPG ones from games like
  33. Zelda or Secret of Mana
  35. You'll need to explore every level to find the resources necessary
  36. for your progress: coins, health bonuses, resurrection potions
  37. special Ninja techniques, etc. Treasure chests are hidden
  38. everywhere. You ll have to find them to afford equipment upgrades
  39. from the ninja shops. In addition Pony and Biki gain experience
  40. points by defeating enemies, becoming more powerful over time. Be
  41. careful though: you ll have to use your resources wisely. Health is
  42. limited so if you don't equip yourself at the armory you're in for
  43. a hard time. Money is limited too however: you'll need to choose
  44. these investments carefully!
  46. Make new friends: a local multiplayer co-op mode lets a second
  47. player drop in at any time. It s even more fun, even more frantic
  48. and even more strategic!
  50. Lose old friends: there are the same numbers of resources no matter
  51. how many players there are; will you share or will you hog
  52. everything?
