  14. Modern society owes much to a mystical technology known as "orbal
  15. energy". Fifty years ago, during what's come to be known as the
  16. "Orbal Revolution", the invention of this technology and the "orb-
  17. ments" developed from it led to a period of rapid human advancement,
  18. birthing innovations of all shapes and sizes, not the least of which
  19. was the airliner, or "orbalship" industry. Although the positive
  20. impact of this revolution is obvious, every coin has a flipside; for
  21. every beneficial device developed with these new materials, so too
  22. were advanced weapons and other implements of war. Thus, the land
  23. became mired with turmoil, and remains in such a state even now.
  24. Enter, the bracers: an organization established to serve as police
  25. and intermediaries alike, holding above all else the peace and safety
  26. of the lands under their jurisdiction. Whenever a citizen is in need
  27. of assistance, he or she may place a request at the local Bracer Guild
  28. and be it monster extermination, crime prevention or even peace talks
  29. among warring nations, the bracers will do whatever they can to resolve
  30. the matter cleanly and efficiently.
  31. Some matters require a gentler touch than others, however. When an
  32. orbalship transporting a legendary "S-rank" bracer named Cassius Bright
  33. suddenly goes missing, said bracer's daughter, Estelle, and adoptive
  34. son, Joshua, must join forces in search of him across the entire Kingdom
  35. of Liberl. And what they find along the way could change both of their
  36. lives forever...
