  13. Eleusis is a 3d first-person adventure game for
  14. Windows developed by Nocturnal Works using the
  15. technology of the unreal engine. It takes place in
  16. a seemingly abandoned village in Greece where the
  17. player character, while trying to seek refuge,
  18. finds himself in the center of a whirlwind of
  19. mysterious events. As the plot unfolds he finds
  20. clues that indicate that the village is a nest of a
  21. cult which plans to revive a dark force through an
  22. ancient ritual and harness its power. The player
  23. character faces the challenge of unlocking the
  24. forgotten knowledge of the ancient mysteries in
  25. order to stop the cult from accomplishing their
  26. goal. It is a story-driven game with emphasis on
  27. exploration, information gathering and also
  28. includes horror-survival elements. The player is
  29. called to solve inventory item based puzzles in
  30. order to proceed to unlock new areas and solve the
  31. mystery. The game's puzzles are made to challenge
  32. the player and are based on actual history,
  33. mythology and technology of ancient Greece. The
  34. player also needs to be cautious and use stealth
  35. tactics and agility to survive the threats looming
  36. the area.
