  205. If you already have Tuneup Utilities 2014 v14.0.1000.324
  206. previously installed, skip to STEP 2.
  208. STEP 1:
  209. Install TuneUpUtilities2014_en-US.exe. This will install
  210. v14.0.1000.324, the lastest build is only installed by updates.
  211. If TuneUp Utilities front end or any other of it's windows is
  212. open, close them and proceed to STEP 2.
  214. STEP 2:
  215. If your using a previously cracked version, extract
  216. originaltulic.rar into the installed folder of TuneUp Utilities,
  217. making sure to overwrite the existing file.
  219. You can now either let the Update Wizard download and install the
  220. Build 340 by launching UpdateWizard.exe manually, or if your
  221. offline then unzip package_14.0.1000.324_to_14.0.1000.340.zip to
  222. a temp folder and then ONLY launch
  223. base_14.0.1000.324_to_14.0.1000.340.msp and allow this to update
  224. your TuneUp Utilities to v14.0.1000.340. Proceed to STEP 3 if
  225. update completes successfully.
  227. If you recieve an error 2229, sorry your saved msi from original
  228. msi to allow updates is missing or it's not compatible, you will
  229. need to uninstall TuneUp Utilities and then reinstall with
  230. provided setup and proceed with STEP 2.
  232. If you chose to manually update and recieved an error about
  233. file(s) inuse make sure to close the front end and then stop the
  234. service "TuneUp.UtilitiesSvc" with task manager or launch
  235. services.msc and stop it there and then retry update. If you
  236. recieve a trial over message, close the window and manually launch
  237. UpdateWizard.exe, this will start the update installation.
  239. Make sure to UNCHECK: "Launch TuneUp Utilities 2014 when
  240. finished" on the final update installation window.
  242. STEP 3:
  243. Finally make sure that TuneUp Utilities 2014 front end isn't
  244. running, else shut it down (as stated above by stopping
  245. TuneUp.UtilitiesSvc), and copy over the precracked dll from
  246. the Crack folder, to the installed folder of TuneUp Utilities
  247. 2014. Make sure to allow the file to be overwritten. Now just
  248. import the Registration.reg into your registry by double clicking
  249. the file.
  251. You now have a fully registered version of TuneUp Utilities 2014!
  252. Appologies for this lengthy process, ever since AVG bought the
  253. rights to this software, they are continually being lazy asses
  254. and not updating the main setup download for weeks after an
  255. update is out.
  257. OPTIONAL:
  259. You can skip importing the registration file and use any info for
  260. registration. It's recommended to use the Registration file, as
  261. this has account registration step completed for you and also
  262. removes some previous blacklisting from lamer keygen onlys. Use
  263. a keygen only WILL ALWAYS result in blacklisting in a short time!
  264. Make sure to use the following format for the serial:
  265. XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
  266. or any 35 digits you'd like.
