- This is a rip of the dvdr released by xpress......
- The source is good but not for a screener of any sort.The picture was interlaced,dull,colourless
- had black borders down the top,bottom and right handside.....also there was some video noise.
- The audio was really good though,just a touch on the quiet side.
- WORK DONE:
- Well waited for the dvdr to come out to get the best rip i could ......and am pretty pleased with the out come.
- First thing was to crop the top,bottom and right hand side to remove the black borders.....then onto the interlace
- problem,which is now fixed ;-)
- After that it was a case of filtering the video.I needed to increase the gamma and lum and chroma alot,due to the dullness of the
- source.Also then needed to equal it out with the right amount of contrast,which was an increase of 192 and also needed to lower
- the rgb black base to remove all glares.
- Then finally onto the smoothing side .....i used a video noise reduction and a contour filter to make it smoother and sharper.
- I KNOW THERE'S LOADS OF ENCODES ALREADY SO TAKE IT OR MOVE ALONG......I WAITED FOR THE DVDR FOR MY SOURCE
- TO ALLOW A BETTER ENCODE SO .....
