  21. Cryostasis takes place in 1981 on a nuclear
  22. ice breaker called the  North  Wind,  which
  23. has become shipwrecked near the North Pole.
  24. The main character, Alexander  Nesterov  is
  25. a   Russian    meteorologist    who    must
  26. investigate  what  happened   onboard   the
  27. ship.
  28. But he s not alone and the  North  Wind  is
  29. now  plagued  by  dead  crewmen  who   have
  30. undergone a bizarre  metamorphosis  due  to
  31. the  effects   of   the   incredibly   cold
  32. climate.  Alexander  must  try  to  unravel
  33. the mystery of  the  ship  captain s  death
  34. and discover whether it was  the  cold  or,
  35. possibly, something far more sinister...
