  40.            Classic side-scrolling gameplay is reporting back
  41.            for duty with Bionic Commando Rearmed, a remake
  42.            of the classic NES game, out now on PC.

  44.            20 years after the 8-bit classic was released,
  45.            Bionic Commando Rearmed recreates the world
  46.            of the original with a complete "2.5D" visual
  47.            revamp. Bionic Commando Rearmed preserves
  48.            the original's mix of swinging and shooting in
  49.            an intense 2D side-scroller, all to the tune of a
  50.            brand-new soundtrack based on the classic 8-bit
  51.            music from the NES masterpiece.

  53.            But Rearmed is far more than just a remake - it
  54.            features all-new modes such as the 2-player co-op
  55.            play, smarter enemy AI, new bionic arm abilities,
  56.            new weapons, bigger bosses and online rankings.
  57.            Faithfully sticking to the story of the NES game,
  58.            Bionic Commando Rearmed tells the story of Nathan
  59.            "R.A.D." Spencer's first mission, sent in to retrieve
  60.            captured agent Super Joe from the hands of the
  61.            Imperials. Fans of the original story can expect to
  62.            see all the characters from the NES version, as well
  63.            as the memorable moments that made the title so
  64.            popular with fans. Rearmed will also link-up to its
  65.            3D "big brother" coming to PC, with unlockable
  66.            content, in-game hints and a story that spans both
  67.            games.
