  25. An uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and
  26. magic.
  28. Play as Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been
  29. trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious wilderness
  30. world. Wilson must learn to exploit his environment and its
  31. inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape and find his way back

  41. New Character:
  43. Woodie the Lumberjack
  44. He's a fun-loving Canadian who spends too much time in the
  45. woods. His axe talks to him, and he has a terrible curse.
  47. New special powers for the unlockable characters:
  49. Willow
  50. Gets a sanity bonus from being near fire
  51. Impervious to fire damage (and probably heat when that becomes
  52. a Thing)
  53. Gets a unique lighter that acts as an infinite torch with a
  54. very small radius
  55. Has a lower max sanity
  56. Lights fires at random when her sanity is low
  58. WX-78
  59. Can eat spoiled food with no penalty
  60. Starts with very low stats, but can upgrade himself by eating
  61. gears.
  62. Takes damage in the rain, but creates light from the sparks
  63. Can get hit by lightning, causing a system overload that makes
  64. him run faster and glow in the dark
  66. Wes
  67. Has pathetic, low stats
  68. Can make balloon animals
  70. Wolfgang
  71. Has a large stomach
  72. Faster sanity drain in the dark and near scary things
  73. Gets damage and health bonuses when his belly is full (and
  74. penalties when it is empty!)
  76. Wendy
  77. Lower combat damage
  78. Less afraid of the dark and monsters.
  79. Carries around abigail's flower. When it is charged (it takes a
  80. couple of days), a blood sacrifice will summon Abigail!
  81. Abigail is a lot more useful now, and will last until she falls
  82. in battle
  84. Wickerbottom
  85. Gets a bonus tech level
  86. Has a high max sanity
  87. Can craft books that can be read to cast powerful magic spells
  88. Insomniac - can not sleep
  89. Picky eater - higher penalties for spoiled food
  91. New creatures:
  93. Splumonkeys - Cave-dwelling monkeys that just want to cause you
  94. trouble. Nothing is safe from their pestering!
  95. Pengulls - Mostly harmless penguinoids who leap from the ocean
  96. in the winter to form rookeries. Be careful if you disrupt
  97. their migration!
  99. New craftables:
  101. We added a new tab for gem-based items, and added amulets and
  102. staffs for all of the existing colours. Watch this space for more
  103. mind-bending magic in future updates!
  105. Red amulet - resurrects as before, but also converts hunger
  106. into health
  107. Blue amulet - harness the power of cold!
  108. Purple amulet - Dare to gaze upon the terrifying nightmare
  109. world.
  110. Purple staff - Warp space and time with teleportation!
  112. Mods:
  114. There is a new mod configuration screen that lets you
  115. activate/deactivate mods from within the game. Check out the
  116. modding forum for details!
