  270. overwrite the existing file. You now have a fully registered
  271. version of Game Collector Cobalt Pro!
  272. **Only buying yourself a subscription will web features work**
  273. *NOTE TO ALL READ NOW ABOUT TRIAL EXPIRE!:*
  274. Going to ONCE AGAIN state the obvious because some people can't
  275. seem to use common sense and nuke a working release because of
  276. their stupidity. So here we go again and state the obvious in
  277. each release of any Collectorz.com applications:
  278. We have for awhile now made searching at Collectorz.com work and
  279. not show illegal key, allowing game lookup to work from that
  280. source, while another group's crack didn't allow any searching
  281. there at all. Now of course if you add over the 50+ normal limit
  282. for Game Collector, and request data well over that limit from
  283. the server in ONE BIG SEARCH, your going to be red flagged and
  284. the server WILL block your IP and only your IP and say your
  285. trial is up (and this is ONLY for retrieval of updates from
  286. them). This again should be quite obvious with server side
  287. protection and using a cracked application, but we give you the
  288. option to still be able to download from them, nobody else could
  289. before (we won't explain our method). It's a dead giveaway if
  290. you request more than you should and don't have a legit account
  291. with them, but seems some of you just don't listen.
  292. We will state it again clearly, don't search over that limit in
  293. one large update to your database! Example would be 50 to 75
  294. back to back automatic searches/updates in one use. If you do
  295. half of the normal limit (25 searches) and more at a later time,
  296. you'll be fine as we have patched the counter inside your
  297. collection file. For people that refuse to listen (like you
  298. nuker), you have been warned!
  299. Change your IP if you somehow forget this, or wait for the ban to
  300. be lifted if you don't listen (YES!! using a FREE PROXY found
  301. easily with google, allows you once again to search right away,
  302. showing you its server side!! Proxy IP is added within the
  303. program). You still have ALL the other Pro features anyways.
  304. Besides, if your using this program to store that many games,
  305. it's about time you paid for it and made that purchase to support
  306. this great database manager.
  307. Thats it! Enjoy.
