  10. Set 50 years after the climactic events of the
  11. original Red Faction, Red Faction: Guerrilla allows
  12. players to take the role of an insurgent fighter
  13. with the newly re-established Red Faction movement
  14. as they battle for liberation from the oppressive
  15. Earth Defense Force. Red Faction: Guerrilla
  16. re-defines the limits of destruction-based
  17. game-play with a huge open-world, fast-paced
  18. guerrilla-style combat, and true physics-based
  19. destruction. You decide who, when, where and how to
  20. battle. Utilize guerrilla tactics, improvised
  21. weaponry, and modified vehicles to lead insurgent
  22. attacks on EDF targets. Launch attacks based on
  23. your own gameplay style, take on missions in any
  24. order you choose, or engage in destructive
  25. activities to weaken the EDFs grip on Mars. Use
  26. destruction to your tactical advantage, setting
  27. ambushes or chain reaction explosions to attack
  28. enemy strongholds and permanently modify the game
  29. environment. Leverage fully-dynamic physics-based
  30. destruction to improvise on the fly: blow holes in
  31. a wall or floor to set an ambush or escape, take
  32. out a staircase to stop your pursuers, or drive
  33. vehicles through blown out walls. Carve your path
  34. through an ever changing landscape as you improvise
  35. you r combat tactics - mixing gameplay styles,
  36. vehicles, weapons and explosives to defeat the EDF.
  37. Explore the huge, unforgiving Martian landscape,
  38. from the desolate mining outpost of Parker to the
  39. gleaming EDF capital city of Eos then tear through
  40. the fully destructible open-world environments
  41. swarming with EDF forces, Red Faction resistance
  42. fighters, and the downtrodden settlers caught in
  43. the cross-fire. There is no place to hide when you
  44. put your guerrilla warfare skills to the test in a
  45. variety of highly destructive multiplayer combat
  46. modes.
