  21. Description:
  22. The Talos Principle is a philosophical first-person puzzle game from Croteam, the creators of the legendary Serious Sam games, written by Tom Jubert (FTL, The Swapper) and Jonas Kyratzes (The Sea Will Claim Everything).
  23. As if awakening from a deep sleep, you find yourself in a strange, contradictory world of ancient ruins and advanced technology. Tasked by your creator with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles, you must decide whether to have faith or to ask the difficult questions: Who are you? What is your purpose? And what are you going to do about it?
  24. The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna follows the narrative of Uriel, Elohim's messenger, as he explores a strange, hidden part of the simulation on a mission of mercy and redemption in an attempt to free the souls of the damned at all costs.
  25. This substantial expansion consists of four episodes that take experienced players through some of the most advanced and challenging puzzles yet. The Talos Principle writers Tom Jubert and Jonas Kyratzes have returned to pen the expansion and show players an entirely different side of Elohim's world through a journey to Gehenna filled with new characters and a new society with its own history and philosophy.

  39. If you experience errors (Xdelta or Unarc ones) during installation, try the following things:
  40. Make sure your Windows username doesn't contain non-latin symbols. Use only latin characters & numbers
  41. Re-hash torrent (in Utorrent point to the game entry, stop download/upload, then click right mouse button, then click "Force Re-check")
  42. Disable antivirus (INCLUDING Windows Defender), it can delete installation files or cracks on-the-fly
  43. Set UAC to a minimum level, otherwise some parts of the installer won't run due to restricted rights
  44. Make sure you have at least as two times more virtual memory, than actual, physical RAM
  45. Make sure you have enough space on target drive & on C: drive (or whatever system drive you have)
  46. Try install the game NOT to C: (system) drive OR specifically to C: drive (Windows rights system is a tricky thing)
  47. Check your Windows folder (and below) for unarc.dll - if this file exists, delete it
  48. Run setup with proper rights, as shown on this image:
