  12. Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon is a fantasy war game set in the Second
  13. War of Armageddon. You take the role of defending the planet as the
  14. Imperium of Man against the Ork invaders. Throughout the campaign you
  15. will also be joined by three chapters of Space Marines: the
  16. Salamanders, Blood Angels and the Ultramarines
  18. In this hex-based, turn-based strategy game, players will lead the
  19. Imperial forces of the Armageddon Steel Legion and Space Marines from a
  20. variety of Chapters against the Ork invasion through over 30 scenarios
  21. on the hostile terrain of the planet and its gigantic Hive Cities
  23. The game features a complex plot, involving known characters from the
  24. Warhammer 40,000 universe and while advancing through the campaign, the
  25. player will have the ability to carryover his core force from scenario
  26. to scenario
  28. Players fight alongside Commissar Yarrick and Commander Dante against
  29. the cunning Ork Warboss Ghazghkull Thraka and carry over
  30. battle-hardened veterans from scenario to scenario, using their
  31. experience and upgrading their equipment
  33. On top all this extensive modding options are available through a
  34. powerful and easy-to-use game editor

  44. types, ranging from search and destroy to last stand defensive battles!

  47. against the AI in 3 battles pitting your Orks against the might of the
  48. Steel Legion and Space Marines! Each scenario is played as independent
  49. content so you can jump immediately into the action
