  21. The world ended 37 minutes ago
  22. It is time to begin
  23. Yaughton, Shropshire. 06:37am 6th June 1984.
  24. Deep within the Shropshire countryside, the village of Yaughton stands empty. Toys lie forgotten in the playground, the wind blows quarantine leaflets around the silent churchyard. Down on Appleton’s farm, crops rustle untended. The birds lie where they have fallen.
  25. Strange voices haunt the radio waves as uncollected washing hangs listlessly on the line. The televisions are tuned to vacant channels. Above it all, the telescopes of the Observatory point out at dead stars and endless darkness. And someone remains behind, to try and unravel the mystery.
  26. Immerse yourself in a rich, deep adventure from award-winning developer The Chinese Room and investigate the last days of Yaughton Valley. Uncover the traces of the vanished community; discover fragments of events and memories to piece together the mystery of the apocalypse.
  27. Featuring a beautiful, detailed open-world and a haunting soundtrack, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is non-linear storytelling at its best.

  55. Problems during installation?
  56. If you experience errors (Xdelta or Unarc ones) during installation, try the following things:
  57. Make sure your Windows username doesn't contain non-latin symbols. Use only latin characters & numbers
  58. Re-hash torrent (in Utorrent point to the game entry, stop download/upload, then click right mouse button, then click "Force Re-check")
  59. Disable antivirus (INCLUDING Windows Defender), it can delete installation files or cracks on-the-fly
  60. Set UAC to a minimum level, otherwise some parts of the installer won't run due to restricted rights
  61. Make sure you have at least as two times more virtual memory, than actual, physical RAM
  62. Make sure you have enough space on target drive & on C: drive (or whatever system drive you have)
  63. Try install the game NOT to C: (system) drive OR specifically to C: drive (Windows rights system is a tricky thing)
  64. Check your Windows folder (and below) for unarc.dll - if this file exists, delete it
  65. Reboot in Safe Mode and install the game
  66. Run setup with proper rights, as shown on this image:
