  17. inhabitants of a strange but lovely world. Featuring fresh puzzle
  18. mechanics, wonderful retro graphics, lots of exploration and an
  19. excellent soundtrack by legendary game composer Chris Huelsbeck
  21. Leona s Tricky Adventures is inspired by a clever puzzle game
  22. mechanic which was briefly explored in the very early 90s but sadly
  23. faded from prominence shortly after. The basic task is to match two
  24. increasingly complex patterns using increasingly complex mechanics
  25. While it can t be directly compared to any contemporary game the
  26. mental skills required by the puzzles put them somewhere in between
  27. "Picross" and "Bejeweled" and in our humble opinion they can
  28. easily stand up against those games
  30. All puzzles are embedded in a big and complex overworld full of
  31. exploration and humorous citizens constructed entirely using
  32. beautifully hand-drawn pixel graphics. Exploration and
  33. puzzle-solving is intertwined in clever and varied ways which draw
  34. you deeper into the game world
  36. Comicmakers M.Musal/B.Samuel provided the story and dialogue for
  37. Leona's world to make the storytelling and humorous aspects of the
  38. game just as compelling as the gameplay itself. The story is an
  39. integral part of the game and the overworld design directly builds
  40. on it to form a coherent product that is more than the sum of its
  41. parts
  43. To match the quality of the gameplay, Chris Huelsbeck and Fabian
  44. DelPriore composed a magnificient soundtrack as well as
  45. M.Musal/B.Samuel prepared al marketing material to round off the
  46. package
