We’re aware of the recent surge in severe feline pancytopenia (as reported by the BBC: https://bbc.in/2TCHAe4) and are deeply saddened by the news of cats being affected by it. The cause is not yet known but has been isolated to a single manufacturer in which Harringtons pet food has no connection. The Food Standards Agency and Royal Veterinary College are investigating the matter and there has been no cases of feline pancytopenia linked to Harringtons cat food. Thanks for the info as we have bought 8 boxes of harringtons cat food.the cat food in question is a hills cat food,don't know what variety but sainsburys and pets at home have sent out messages to return products for a full refund. I'm glad that the RVC are acting quickly and my heart goes out to all the cat owners whose cats have contracted this severe illness.

Unfortunately we don't buy hill's products,our cats like harringtons, Felix or gourmet cat foods.
